Job Summary:
The Manager, Analytics provides day-to-day operational leadership for a subset of the analytics team, with direct oversight of the Epic Cogito Developer / Report Writer team and a defined group of analysts. The Manager supports analysts by providing direction on the appropriate insights to develop, drawing on experience with hospital operations and analytics needs. The Manager is heavily involved in quality assurance of analyst deliverables before they are sent to stakeholders, ensures high-quality data and insights reach the customer, and serves as part of the Enterprise Analytics leadership team. The Manager works cross-functionally with the Data Platform and Data Governance teams and coordinates with IT leadership and clinical informaticists on Epic application builds, upgrades, and new features.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or reporting.
• 1-2 years of team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with Epic Cogito tools and Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
• Experience in hospital operations or clinical analytics strongly preferred.
• Experience working in agile product delivery preferred.
