Position Summary:

Production-focused role responsible for preparing drawings and supporting the technical execution of ongoing multifamily housing and mixed-use development projects.

Reports To:

Director of Architecture

Responsibilities

  • Produce and update construction drawings and plan sets
  • Assist with document development across multiple projects
  • Incorporate redlines and revisions from senior team members
  • Support layouts, plan adjustments, and detailing
  • Coordinate with external engineers and consultants
  • Assist with code reviews and prepare permitting packages
  • Maintain organized drawing sets and project files

Work Environment

  • Full-time, on-site position (no remote allowed)
  • Based in the Harper Woods headquarters office as part of a four-person architecture team
  • Standard Mondayโ€“Friday office hours with occasional after-hours work

Advancement Opportunity

  • Team members who demonstrate initiative and technical interest will have the opportunity to grow within a stable development pipeline

Required Experience

  • Entry-level to early-career architectural experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s or higher degree in Architecture preferred
  • Pathway to licensure preferred, not required
  • Familiarity with Revit
  • Strong understanding of construction documents
  • Familiarity with multifamily projects preferred (affordable housing a plus)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instruction and execute efficiently
  • Basic familiarity with Windows computers and common office software
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation
