Job description

The Township is seeking a qualified and motivated Full-Time Zoning Officer to join our team and play a key role in guiding responsible growth and development within the community. This position is ideal for a professional who is knowledgeable in zoning regulations, land use planning, and municipal processes, and who is committed to delivering excellent service to residents, developers, and local stakeholders.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Public Administration, or a closely related field, or have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in planning, zoning, construction, or site development. A Building Code Official certification is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing zoning applications, ensuring compliance with local ordinances, assisting with permitting processes, and serving as a resource for zoning-related inquiries.
