Job description

Zoox has embarked on a highly ambitious journey to develop a full-stack autonomous mobility solution that's optimized for the passenger experience. We have a proactive strategy that comprises prototyping, pilot, and launch phases.
Zoox's growing Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help shape, build, and scale our organization. You will manage a diverse set of roles which will include positions within firmware. You will work closely with hiring managers and run searches end-to-end including qualifying requirements, sourcing, recruiting, and closing world-class engineering talent.
This position requires an uncommon balance of teamwork, dedication, and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to act as an ambassador of the brand and have the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment. Most importantly, you must have a genuine passion for Zoox's mission.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and effective candidate advocacy
  • Source candidates, screen resumes, and evaluate candidates to determine fit
  • Facilitate interview and hiring decision-making processes with interview panelists, hiring managers, and company leadership
  • Manage offer process, partnering with hiring managers, leadership, and HR teams
  • Continuously and independently seek new ways to improve both the candidate experience and recruiting process

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a competitive industry (sourcing, screening, and closing candidates)
  • Ability to evaluate technical aptitude and screen candidates for both technical and behavioral fit
  • Tech and industry knowledge with the ability to understand relevant skills and companies within the industry
  • Consultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency sourcing with LinkedIn as well as alternative techniques

Bonus Qualifications
  • Interest in the autonomous and electric vehicle industry
  • Expertise in leveraging at ATS (we use Lever) to build metrics, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines
  • Experience working for a recruiting agency
  • Experience managing complex technical roles

$118,000 - $162,000 a year
Base Salary Range
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
Zoox also offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off (e.g. sick leave, vacation, bereavement), unpaid time off, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, Amazon RSUs, health insurance, long-term care insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, and life insurance.
Location
This hybrid role entails working in the office three days per week in our San Diego office.
