Job description

Salesforce Developer

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to lead the design, development, integration, and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce platform development, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, integrations, and technical leadership. This role requires hands-on development, architecture guidance, mentoring team members, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities Technical Architecture & Solution Design
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce solutions.
  • Design technical architectures aligned with Salesforce best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Define integration patterns, data models, security frameworks, and deployment strategies.
Salesforce Development
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications using: Apex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce (legacy support).
  • Build and maintain custom objects, validation rules, Flows, and automation processes.
  • Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce governor limits and platform best practices.
Integration & Data Management
  • Develop and support integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Implement integrations with external platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, ERP systems, and middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.).
  • Design and support event-driven architectures using Platform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC).
  • Lead data migration, ETL, and data synchronization initiatives.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
  • Lead and mentor Salesforce developers.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
Release Management & DevOps
  • Manage source control and branching strategies using Git.
  • Support CI/CD processes using Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DevOps Center.
  • Participate in release planning, deployment management, and production support activities.
Platform Governance & Security
  • Implement Salesforce security best practices, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Role Hierarchies.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
  • Monitor platform performance and proactively address technical debt and optimization opportunities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate technical solutions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project planning activities.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or mentoring role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Apex Development, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Flows, validation rules, custom objects, and platform automation.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security model including Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, and Sharing Rules.
  • Experience building REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
