Job Description

We are working with a Boston based "Internet-of-Things" startup, one of VentureBeat's 11 Startups You Should Know About from Y Combinator's 2015 Summer Demo Day, that is creating a brand new, cloud-based, connected device system for the life sciences/drug discovery industry. This product connects scientific equipment to the web, which allows scientists to remotely monitor experiments, receive alerts, and efficiently track data. This company is the looking to revolutionize a multi-billion dollar industry that will ultimately aid in the discovery of medication for rare diseases.

They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience with JavaScript (AngularJS / Node.js). This team member will be writing code that will connect hardware devices in labs to software allowing scientists to monitor and track experiments from anywhere.

Qualifications

Experience needed:

- 3-5+ years experience with JavaScript (AngularJS / Node.js) 

- Experience building robust cloud infrastructures in an (AWS) Amazon Web Services (EC2) environment

- Full MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, and Node.js) development experience would be a plus

- Previous life science, biotech, embedded devices, and/or Internet of Things (IoT) experience would be a huge plus
