Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Sales, Home & Commercial, the Senior Sales Associate will manage the day-to-day operations of selected brand(s) supporting the Amazon business. The primary focus of this role will be growing selected brand(s) through various business driving activations, presentation management, analysis, and active support of the overall retail sales business(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Execute business objectives which will achieve e-originated sales growth across the account
  • Campaign tracking, performance analysis and management
  • Using internal budget management tools to help submit, track and review business plans, and updating product costs and discrepancies resolutions
  • Execute forecasting process allowing for in-stocks to remain at the optimal level aligned upon between the customer and Newell Brands
  • Formulate & execute plans to deplete excess inventory
  • Product experience optimization including review generation (Vine), detail page optimization (A+, variations, content clean up, merges) and image/video management
  • Periodic review of PDP pages to ensure Top Selling or Key ASINs have A+ Content
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Monthly/weekly/quarterly reconciliation of business invoicing and invoice approvals
  • Execute promotional plans as well as tracking and post-performance analysis
  • Collaboration with finance teams to appropriately manage & optimize checkbook spend
  • Entering and updating product/promotional information into Amazon's Vendor Central portal
  • Leads MAP & Andon cord resolution with cross functional partners
  • Collaborates with Customer Strategy and Planning, and Marketing Teams to provide and explain market data to the customer.
  • Responsible for successful innovation launches, ensuring cross functional alignment
  • Leverages our product mix to improve profitability to meet NWL, customer, consumer targets
  • Leads execution on assortment changes to optimize internal & external profitability
  • Completing ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as necessary

Key Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or University degree in Business, similar field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of direct and firsthand experience in sales and/or channel marketing
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% (actual travel based on business needs)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to learn and understand key business issues
  • Proven ability to deliver results and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous, operationally focused with a passion for speed and simplicity
  • Takes initiative & brings impeccable follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and commitment to teamwork

The Washington base pay range for this position is from $81,300 to $101,600. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
