Job description

Fueling Federal Transformation:

Are you passionate about helping people and organizations embrace change. At Accenture Federal Services, we're looking for a Change Management Consultant who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving transformation so federal government agencies can deliver on mission-critical initiatives. Our clients need someone experienced in building and executing change management strategies, working directly with teams to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working. A change practitioner's expertise lies in crafting actionable plans, engaging stakeholders, and delivering results that drive lasting impact in complex, federal environments.

 

The work:

  • Work closely with project teams to integrate change management strategies into broader project plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and federal stakeholders to align change efforts with organizational goals and mission objectives.
  • Conduct readiness assessments and change impact analyses to identify risks, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop detailed change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training strategies, to support federal client transformation efforts.
  • Execute change management activities, such as facilitating workshops, conducting impact analyses, and implementing engagement strategies to drive adoption.
  • Create and deliver tailored communications and materials to prepare and support end-users through change initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities, collecting feedback and making real-time adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Support the development of tools, templates, and methodologies to enhance the Talent & Organization practice and ensure repeatable success.

 

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years' experience in one or a mix of the following areas:
    • Change Management
    • Workforce Transformation
    • Agile Change
    • Change Analytics
    • Design Thinking
  • Include 2-3 years of experience delivering change in a federal environment
  • Familiarity with a digital technology platform (e.g. Salesforce, Pega, ServiceNow, Appian, etc.), a Cloud Service Provider (e.g. Amazon, Microsoft, Google), or Cyber Security
  • U.S. citizenship required to meet federal client requirements

 Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working as a consultant on change management
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) Certifications or PROSCI
  • Experience with designing, developing, and rolling out a change management plan for a mid- or large-scale program
  • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools and techniques to solve client challenges and enhance change management efforts
  • Familiar with digital authoring tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, PowToon, Mentimeter, Camtasia, SnagIt, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate 360 to accelerate learning and adoption
