Alumni Coordinator | Twin Lakes Recovery Center | Monroe, Georgia
About the Job:
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The Alumni Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing alumni outreach to encourage and strengthen relationship of facility alumni. Works closely with the Clinical Director and/or Facility CEO to develop a strategy inclusive of an event calendar, newsletters, online and in-person meetings, host alumni groups, and alumni program development. The Alumni Coordinator is also responsible for growing alumni referrals, maintaining and growing the CaredFor App, and creating and maintaining an alumni committee.
Roles and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Aligns facility alumni plans with corporate alumni strategy.
  • Ensures a smooth alumni experience with a documented client journey map (what the experience should look like once completing treatment).
  • Plans, coordinates, and promotes alumni and community events, including quarterly and annual alumni reunions and sponsored outings or events such as a bowling, movie night, Superbowl celebration, etc.
  • Promotes events effectively in the alumni/family networks and the surrounding communities. Manages and updates an events calendar on the website in coordination with corporate Business Development.
  • Collects alumni data upon/prior discharge and ensures the process to alumni status is smooth. Manages alumni data, updating in Salesforce and other directories as needed. Analyzes alumni data for findings and opportunities, as needed.
  • Develops and implements a communication system utilizing phone, text, email, facility app, and any other channel available to follow-up and support program for facility alumni.
  • Tracks and logs all outreach in Salesforce database.
  • Creates and curates content, comments on posts, celebrates milestones, etc. Identifies and promotes any potential facility alumni advocates self-selecting in the CaredFor app.
  • Provides alumni social media and web support, creates custom content to engage with alumni community, collaborates with digital team on posting.
  • Driving admissions by increasing the number of alumni and families making referrals to the facility
  • Measures the effectiveness of the alumni programs by creating and distributing satisfaction surveys, analyzing the data collected, and incorporating feedback from responses into future efforts.
  • Leverages admissions and activity data in Salesforce to report on and evaluate result of efforts.
  • Runs weekly group with all discharging clients to discuss alumni services.
  • Conducts daily group with all clients in their first seven days of treatment to begin building a rapport and triaging client issues.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One or more years' experience in the substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment field preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile, where facility requires.
WORK LOCATION:
This position is onsite and is not a remote position.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
This position is an Individual Contributor.
