Alumni Support Coordinator

Marine Corps University (MCU) / College of Distance Education and Training (CDET

Location:Quantico, VA

Employment Type:Full-Time

Security Clearance:Secret (Tier 3)

This position is contingent upon contract award.


Hatalom Corporation is seeking an Alumni Support Coordinator to support Marine Corps University (MCU) and Education Command (EDCOM). This position serves as the primary point of contact for alumni engagement,maintainingalumni records, fostering communication with graduates, and supporting programs that strengthen lifelong connections with Marine Corps University. This position is contingent upon award.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a comprehensive database of alumni information, including contact details,graduation data, and professional achievements.
  • Facilitate communication with alumni via email, newsletters, and social media platformsto promote engagement and share relevant updates.
  • Collect and analyze alumni feedback to assess the effectiveness of support services andidentifyareas for improvement.
  • Manage alumni inquiries and provide prompt,accurateresponses to ensurehigh levelsofsatisfaction.
  • Support the development and distribution of marketing materials that highlight alumnisuccess stories and institutional achievements.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to develop programs that support alumniprofessional development and lifelong learning.
  • Prepare regular reports on alumni engagement metrics, including participation rates,event attendance, etc.
  • Conduct outreach to newly graduated alumni to introduce available support services andencourage ongoing engagement.
  • Update alumni profiles and contact information regularly to ensure accuracy and supporteffective communication.

RequiredQualifications

  • Experience in alumni relations, customer service, program coordination, or administrative support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experiencemaintainingdatabases and preparing reports.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting higher education, military education, or nonprofit organizations.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) or alumni database systems.
  • Experience coordinating events, communications, or outreach programs.
