Job Description
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting wholesale sales performance, inventory planning, and operational execution across the U.S. market. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Logistics, Retail Partners, and Headquarters to drive accurate forecasting, optimize inventory allocation, manage wholesale operations, and deliver actionable business insights. The position combines analytical expertise, operational coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize sales opportunities, improve inventory productivity, and ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
Profile
Key Responsibilities
Sales Planning
โ€ข Develop weekly and monthly sales forecasts to support inventory planning, commercial strategy, and business objectives across USA.
โ€ข Analyze sales data: sell-in and sell through and inventory performance, identify business trends and risks, monitor KPIs, and develop recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
โ€ข Identify opportunities to increase sales and expand business with existing accounts
โ€ข Communicate regularly with Brand Manager on status of accounts
โ€ข Liaise with Headquarters to coordinate product releases, launches, and allocation planning.
Inventory Management & Analysis
โ€ข Proactively manage inventory and regularly present detailed business reviews by door, by key account.
โ€ข Compile monthly inventory, sell out reports per POS and reorder proposals.
โ€ข Monitor core collection performance at the point of sale, evaluate sell-through trends, and optimize product availability based on client demand and commercial priorities.
โ€ข Manage assortments, placement and distribution to maximize brand representation, retail sales and turn goals.
โ€ข Analyze inventory risks and opportunities to support allocation decisions and inventory optimization across the network.
Operations
โ€ข Manage wholesale order execution, coordinate product shipments, and oversee inventory transfers to ensure timely fulfillment and operational efficiency.
โ€ข Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of product consignments for retailer events and brand activations, including approvals, inventory selection, shipment coordination, inventory tracking, and returns.
โ€ข Oversee carnet shipments and returns for international inventory movements while ensuring operational compliance and efficient inventory flow.
โ€ข Prepare and process invoices and operational documentation to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational execution.
โ€ข Coordinate with third-party vendors to support operational initiatives.
โ€ข Execute and administer wholesale sales incentive programs while supporting sales objectives and program
execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
โ€ข Partner with Headquarters and cross-functional stakeholders-including Finance, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Import/Export, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and E-commerce-to coordinate inventory movements, implement pricing updates, obtain approvals, resolve operational challenges, and support commercial initiatives.
โ€ข Maintain inventory records and operational reporting within SAP, Cegid, and MyStores, ensuring data integrity and providing business insights to support planning and decision-making.
โ€ข Liaise with Marketing and PR to coordinate event calendars, pop-up activations, and product placements while aligning inventory planning with brand and commercial objectives.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Merchandising, or a related field.
โ€ข 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Business Analysis, Wholesale Operations, or a related field.
โ€ข Able and willing to travel up to 20% of the time as required.
โ€ข Experience supporting wholesale, retail, luxury, fashion, beauty, or consumer goods businesses preferred.
โ€ข Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and performance data and provide actionable recommendations.
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems such as SAP, Cegid or similar platforms.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Sales Operations Analyst to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
