Job Description:The client is seeking an Airtable Consultant to design, build, optimize, and support Airtable solutions for event operations, planning workflows, reporting, dashboards, and team training.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design and build Airtable bases, interfaces, dashboards, and automations
  • Translate stakeholder needs from Excel files, verbal requirements, or existing workflows into Airtable-native solutions
  • Create scalable relational data structures using linked records and normalized data
  • Build interfaces for planning teams, clients, vendors, and leadership audiences
  • Support event operations workflows, budgets, logistics, and reporting needs
  • Develop introductory Airtable training materials to improve team adoption
  • Recommend best practices for Airtable structure, process, and usability
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and explain solution design
  • Support part-time project needs ranging from approximately 10–30 hours per week

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on Airtable experience, including base design, interface design, dashboards, automations, linked records, and field configuration
  • Experience designing Airtable solutions from the ground up using relational data principles and clean, scalable data structures
  • Ability to normalize data properly by linking records across tables instead of duplicating information
  • Hands-on event operations experience, including familiarity with event workflows, budgets, logistics, terminology, and planning processes
  • Ability to translate stakeholder requirements from spreadsheets, conversations, or existing workflows into well-structured Airtable solutions
  • Ability to explain when a direct workflow translation is not ideal and recommend an Airtable-native approach
  • Experience building Airtable interfaces or dashboards for multiple audiences, including working teams and leadership stakeholders
  • Ability to develop introductory Airtable training materials for non-technical users
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote, part-time consulting capacity
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience writing scripts or developing script-based automations within Airtable
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to support Airtable scripting, automation, or workflow development
  • Experience supporting event technology, registration, or large-scale event planning teams
  • Experience working with enterprise clients or high-visibility event programs
  • Prior consulting or agency experience
