Job Description: Business Systems Analyst (Airtable)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst with extensive knowledge of Airtable to join our Category Management and Marketing Operations team. The BSA will serve as one of the primary functional experts and administrators for vendor-funded marketing processes built in Airtable. This role partners with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize solutions that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and process automation. This role translates business requirements into scalable applications, workflows, integrations, and reporting solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, and user adoption.
Location: This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for associates in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
  • Partner with business teams to understand operational challenges and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, process mapping workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Analyze current-state processes and recommend technology-enabled improvements.
  • Create business requirements documents, workflow diagrams, and solution designs.

Airtable Design & Administration
  • Design, build, and maintain Airtable bases, tables, interfaces, automations, and dashboards.
  • Develop scalable data models using linked records, lookups, rollups, formulas, and custom views.
  • Configure Airtable Interfaces to support various user groups and business processes and manage user permissions, access controls, and governance standards.

Process Automation & Integration
  • Create and maintain Airtable automations to eliminate manual processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Airtable with other business systems using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.
  • Monitor automation performance and solve workflow issues.
  • Find opportunities for increased efficiency through automation and digital transformation.

Data Management & Reporting
  • Establish data standards and ensure data integrity across Airtable solutions.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs that provide actionable business insights.
  • Perform data analysis and recommend process improvements based on trends and metrics.

User Support & Training
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Airtable-related questions and issue resolution.
  • Create user documentation, training materials, operating procedures and provide guidance on Airtable guidelines and governance standards
  • Conduct training sessions and support ongoing user adoption initiatives.

Project Support
  • Participate in system enhancement projects, platform implementations and support testing activities including user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Track project achievements, risks, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver solutions on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process optimization and advanced Airtable expertise including Interfaces, Automations, and API integrations.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts and experience creating workflows, automations, and reporting solutions.
  • Experience writing code and implementing scripting software integrations in Airtable
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management protocols to include project plan management and risk and dependency identification
  • Experience with change management and user adoption initiatives to include training.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
$5,444.76 - $9,537.00
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
