Job description

Airline Hydraulics is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our Fluid Power and Automation product lines. This role partners with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to provide technical product support, develop solutions, manage orders, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, enjoys working with customers, and has an interest in industrial products and engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by assisting with product questions, availability, pricing, order updates, and general support requests.
  • Help customers identify the right products and solutions based on application needs and technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain customer quotations, process orders, and monitor open orders through internal systems and online platforms.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source materials, resolve availability issues, and support expedited shipments when needed.
  • Partner with internal departments including Sales, Operations, and Purchasing to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Support outside sales representatives by maintaining customer relationships and assisting with account activities.
  • Review pricing information, support account updates, and communicate changes to maintain accurate customer records.
  • Follow established procedures and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer support, technical sales, or a related role preferred.
  • Experience within fluid power, industrial distribution, automation, electrical, or technical products strongly preferred.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and assist customers with product selection.
  • Experience with purchasing, manufacturing, or engineered products is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Epicor P21 and B2B platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for customer visits and training.
