Position Summary: The position is responsible for providing supervision of the Aircraft Records Department. Maintains paper and computerized aircraft records in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration and General Maintenance Manual requirements.
Major Job Accountabilities:
  • Provides for the keeping of aircraft records required by the Federal Aviation Administration 121.380 and General Maintenance Manual.
  • Maintains electronic file system for each aircraft to include all pertinent maintenance records and flight log pages.
  • Ensures that all Aircraft Log pages are accounted for by completing monthly audits.
  • Ensures that all Letter Service Check Packages are accounted for by completing monthly audits.
  • Maintain/Audit computerized tracking system for hard time and life limited parts.
  • Maintain all maintenance records in electronic record keeping system and retrieve requested files in a timely manner upon request.
  • Prepares the Aircraft Monthly Utilization Report
  • Assist Analysts in accomplishing their work assignments by training and/or clarifying requirements.
  • Assist phase in team to audit/update flight data for new aircraft acquisition prior to purchase or lease.
  • Provide training to all new hires.
  • Identifies process improvements and recommends enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the department.
  • Applies appropriate discretion and judgment to make decisions aligned with departmental priorities and company policies.
  • Determines when to act independently versus when issues require escalation to management.
  • Accomplishes additional tasks as directed by the Manager Aircraft Records.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in an aviation maintenance environment preferred.
  • A four-year college degree with an emphasis in Business or Aviation preferred.
  • Ability to read & decipher technical aircraft data and/or material required.
  • Solid writing, communication, and computer skills required.
  • Supervisory and administrative skills.
  • Aviation records experience preferred.
  • Trax program experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to twenty-five pounds as part of routine job duties.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range
$72,750-$98,250 USD
