Job description

Summary:

This position performs technical review, analysis, and administrative duties to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Audits Life Limited Part Summaries and applicable technical and operational documentation for Company and customer engines.
  • Assists in pre-purchase evaluation of engines and/or inventory as required.
  • Produces Life Limited Part Summaries and trace packages.
  • Research records through contacts with OEMs, repair facilities and previous owner / operators in obtaining life limited part trace and complete operational and technical engine documentation.
  • Provides comprehensive data packages to internal and external customers.
  • Interfaces with internal and external customers in answering product related technical and trace questions.
  • Scans select technical and trace documents.
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Knowledge of aircraft and engines. Prefer knowledge of the following engine types: CF34, CF6, CFM56, PW2000, PW4000, and V2500.
  • Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience with aircraft and engine technical records.
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Familiarity with OEM documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
