Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $50–$70/hour
Location: Remote
Region: United States / Canada
Schedule: Flexible

About the Role

We're looking for US- or Canada-based Generalist Experts to help train and evaluate frontier AI models.

In this role, you'll review a variety of everyday professional materials—including documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and other written content—and evaluate them for quality, accuracy, clarity, completeness, and sound reasoning.

Your feedback will directly contribute to improving how AI systems understand, reason about, and produce real-world professional work.

This opportunity is a strong fit for sharp, detail-oriented professionals who are comfortable working across different formats and subject areas. Deep specialization in a single field isn't required—strong judgment, careful reading, and clear written reasoning are what matter most.

What You'll Do
  • Review and evaluate documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and similar professional materials.
  • Assess content for accuracy, quality, clarity, structure, and completeness.
  • Provide clear, well-reasoned written feedback and ratings.
  • Compare and rank AI-generated outputs against defined criteria.
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and gaps in reasoning or formatting.
  • Apply project guidelines consistently across different types of content.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Based in the United States or Canada.
  • Excellent English reading comprehension and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment across varied subject areas.
  • Comfortable working independently with common productivity tools, including documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Able to clearly explain your reasoning and make objective evaluations.

No prior AI or machine-learning experience is required. Training, guidelines, and project context will be provided.

We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.

Contract & Payment Terms
  • Independent contractor engagement.
  • Fully remote with a flexible schedule.
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance.
  • Work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
  • Weekly payments through Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.
  • H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are currently not supported.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • $50–$70/hour
  • Flexible, fully remote work.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of frontier AI systems.
  • Work across a diverse range of professional content and subject areas.
  • Collaborate with leading AI researchers and teams.
  • Apply your professional judgment and analytical skills—no prior AI experience required.
About the Organization

The organization behind this opportunity partners with leading AI labs and enterprises to train and improve frontier AI models using human expertise.

As a Generalist Expert, you'll contribute to projects designed to improve how AI systems understand and produce high-quality real-world work, while collaborating with researchers and other experts.
