Secondary objectives include improving decision-making through actionable insights and increasing efficiency by reducing manual work and cycle time.
This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial, sales, or marketing program leadership experience who understands how to turn technology into measurable business outcomes. The role requires comfort operating in ambiguity and translating complex, cross-functional initiatives into clear priorities, decisions, and execution momentum.
Essential Responsibilities:
Enterprise AI Opportunity Leadership
  • Establish and manage a structured process for collecting AI use cases from across the organization.
  • Translate business opportunities into clear AI problem statements with measurable success criteria.
  • Maintain and prioritize an enterprise AI opportunity backlog aligned to business strategy.
  • Bring clarity to ambiguous or loosely defined opportunities by framing scope, risks, and trade-offs early to enable confident prioritization and execution.

Program Execution & Delivery
  • Select and actively drive the top 2-3 AI initiatives at any given time from concept through full deployment.
  • Build business cases, define success metrics, and ensure initiatives deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to execute solutions; this role owns results, not just pilots.
  • Anticipate execution risks, manage dependencies across workstreams, and proactively resolve issues to balance speed, quality, and stakeholder needs.
  • Treat delivery outcomes as personal commitments, with a strong bias toward action, accountability, and measurable impact.

Sales & Marketing Enablement
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial leaders to identify AI use cases such as:
  • Strategic Account planning and proactive opportunity identification
  • Campaign effectiveness and ROI optimization
  • Forecasting and demand signal improvement
  • Ensure AI insights are actionable and embedded into daily workflows.

Insight Generation & Decision Support
  • Use AI tools to synthesize internal and external data into clear insights that improve planning and decision-making.
  • Act as a translator between analytics, commercial teams, and leadership.

Change Adoption & Governance
  • Drive adoption through training, enablement materials, and clear usage guidance.
  • Partner with IT, Legal, and Compliance to ensure responsible and secure AI usage.
  • Promote practical, AI solutions that build trust and further innovation.

Primary Objectives:
Drive Revenue Growth
  • Identify and deploy AI-enabled capabilities that improve sales effectiveness, customer targeting, forecasting, and marketing performance.

Improve Decision Quality & Competitive Advantage
  • Apply AI tools to generate actionable insights that enhance forecasting, prioritization, competitive response, and portfolio decisions.

Increase Efficiency & Speed
  • Leverage AI to reduce manual effort, free up capacity, and accelerate execution across commercial and operational teams.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading commercial growth or revenue effectiveness initiatives with documented pipeline, revenue, or P&L impact
  • Strong track record of cross functional project and program leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data or analytics into business decisions
  • Strong data fluency: comfortable interrogating data sources, assessing data quality, and translating between commercial questions and analytical answers (does not require hands-on coding or modeling)
  • Comfort influencing senior leaders and driving execution across teams
  • Business first mindset with accountability for outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive decisions in complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong organizational and execution discipline, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining focus on business impact.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct commercial experience (Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Commercial Operations, or Market Strategy)
  • Experience in B2B manufacturing, agriculture, or distribution-based business models
  • Direct experience deploying at least one AI or advanced analytics solution into a commercial or operational workflow, with measurable adoption and business outcomes
  • Comfort working with structured and unstructured business data to frame problems, evaluate vendor solutions, and validate outputs, without requiring hands-on modeling
