The Technical Project Manager will join a growing team supporting the development, pilot implementation, and production launch of manufacturing technology products.

Responsibilities will include coordinating multiple technical workstreams across software development, engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams. The Project Manager will maintain project schedules, product-development milestones, Jira dashboards, burndown reporting, resource plans, financial forecasts, and project documentation. They will facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, project reviews, and recurring status meetings while proactively following up with workstream leads, escalating blocked activities, and communicating project progress and risks to stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong project coordination foundation who takes initiative, enjoys bringing structure to complex technical environments, and can communicate effectively with engineers, software teams, manufacturing stakeholders, customers, and leadership.

Successful candidates will have the following attributes:

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, manufacturing, engineering, IT, software, or a related technical environment.

  • Experience with Agile project practices (running sprints, defining user stories, etc.), Jira, software development, IT projects, product launches, manufacturing systems, or stage-gate processes is strongly preferred

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, project schedules, deliverables, risks, issues, and action items

  • Working knowledge of project management practices, including schedule management, budget tracking, resource planning, status reporting, and stakeholder communication

  • Experience leading meetings and proactively following up with project contributors to maintain progress

  • Strong technical curiosity and the ability to understand project complexities and translate technical information into clear stakeholder updates

  • Strong initiative, work ethic, organization, attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving skills

  • Support continuous improvement of project processes, templates, and communication practices.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a team player

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing project needs

  • Willingness to support pilot installations, training, commissioning, and manufacturing launch activities

  • Experience with project financial forecasting, resource-allocation planning, or customer-facing project work is a plus

Requirements

  • 2+ experience managing technical projects

  • Experience in manufacturing environments

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Ability to provide full time daily onsite PM services at our clientโ€™s facility in Redford, MI
