Wage Range: $27.00/hr to $45.00/hr DOE

OVERVIEW:
This individual is responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient repair of aggregate machinery and components at high levels of quality on equipment including, conveyors, screens, feeders, compression crushers, impact crushers, generators, washing equipment, and mobile track equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems on aggregate equipment accurately and perform field repairs with minimal supervision
  • Able to measure and replace crusher wear parts and screen cloth accurately and independently
  • Able to do thorough and accurate inspections of various aggregate equipment and perform maintenance as directed by manufacturer specifications
  • Attend manufacturer training sessions and internal training courses put on by GES Technical Trainers
  • Basic testing knowledge of all machine systems
  • Perform rebuilds on aggregate equipment components and systems
  • Perform customer equipment startups while explaining proper use, maintenance and warranty procedures
  • Responsible for following all company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintains a clean, organized and safe working environment
  • Maintains and cares for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Completes all paperwork required for jobs
  • Maintains DOT compliance and proficiently uses and understands electronic logbook system
  • May perform other duties as directed by Service Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must share our Core Values: Do the Right Thing, Be Curious, Have Passion and Be Innovative
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the aggregate industry
  • Must have Class A CDL or the ability to obtain
  • Welding/fabrication experience helpful
  • Must have own hand tools, up to and including a ¾ drive set
  • Excellent customer service skills both internal and external as a representative of General Equipment
  • Organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Must be willing to travel as there may be occasional overnight field service work

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
