Agency Manager Brightway Insurance

Lead a New Agency. Build a Team. Drive Growth.

Brightway Insurance is expanding to Leesburg, Florida, and were looking for an experienced Agency Manager to help launch and grow our newest agency.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an insurance professional who enjoys leading operations, coaching sales, and helping clients find the right coverage. Youll partner closely with the Agency Owner to build a successful agency while focusing on inside sales, agency management, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

With Brightways centralized Service Center handling much of the policy servicing, youll have more time to focus on growing the business, managing agency operations, and developing long-term client relationships.


About the Role

As the Agency Manager, you will work alongside the Agency Owner to oversee the daily operations of the agency while driving new business production and maintaining a high-performing sales culture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership, inside sales, coaching, and operational excellence.

Youll serve as a trusted insurance advisor to clients while helping establish the agency as a premier insurance resource in the Leesburg and The Villages communities.


What Youll Do
  • Partner with the Agency Owner to build and grow a successful insurance agency.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the office while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
  • Drive inside sales activities by quoting, presenting, and binding new Personal Lines insurance policies.
  • Manage the agency sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on new business opportunities.
  • Coach and motivate team members to achieve production and service goals.
  • Develop relationships with referral partners, local businesses, and community organizations.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to identify coverage needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure all business is written within carrier underwriting guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Brightways Service Center to provide seamless ongoing support for clients.
  • Maintain an active Florida 2-20 General Lines License and stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client records and agency data within the agency management system.
  • Help establish processes and best practices as the agency continues to grow.

What You Bring
  • Active Florida 2-20 General Lines Insurance License (Required)
  • Previous experience managing or leading an insurance agency, sales team, or office.
  • Strong Personal Lines insurance knowledge.
  • Proven success in insurance sales and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with agency management systems and insurance carrier portals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for helping grow a business.
