SierTeK Ltd. is seeking two (2) Senior Cybersecurity Specialists (SCAR) to support an opportunity at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH.
This position will provide high level Cybersecurity and support services for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Digital Capabilities Directorate (DCD), office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This support includes all tasks necessary to develop, coordinate, and track compliance with AFRL enterprise cybersecurity architecture, strategy, plans, and supplemental policy for the entire distributed AFRL organization.
Essential Job Functions
Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies across AFRL
  • Track compliance with DoD frameworks (likely RMF/NIST 800-53)
  • Work heavily in eMASS (key requirement)

Architecture & Strategy
  • Design enterprise-level cybersecurity architecture
  • Help define long-term cyber strategy and plans
  • Align systems with Air Force/DoD standards

Technical Oversight
  • Provide guidance on:
    • Systems engineering
    • Network security
  • Likely reviewing, not building systems directly

Customer Support / Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work with AFRL technical directorates
  • Translate cyber requirements into actionable guidance

Minimal Position Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • eMASS experience as:
    • Security Controls Assessor (SCA), or
    • SCA Representative (3+ years)
  • 5+ years DoD/Air Force experience
  • CISSP (or ability to get it within 12 months)
  • Experience briefing senior leadership
  • SharePoint admin experience
