Job description

Job Title: Assembly Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic assembly team to work on multiple sections, utilizing gauges, calipers, and soldering irons to meticulously build PCB boards. Ensure a dust-free environment for these sensitive components as you construct circuit boards, cameras, flexes, and other electrical systems. You will also engage with software uploads on smartphones, integral to the controller for viewing purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small, complex mechanical components with precision.
  • Utilize soldering skills or demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Follow assembly documentation accurately and execute verbal/written instructions consistently.
  • Maintain clean and orderly workstations and production areas.
  • Communicate ideas and problems effectively to technicians and engineers.
  • Execute tests using specialized fixtures and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and rework electronics or other complex mechanical assemblies.
  • Operate precision measuring equipment.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in assembling small, complex mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in soldering or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow assembly documentation and execute instructions with accuracy.
  • Experience in maintaining clean workstations.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying ideas and problems.
  • Prior manufacturing experience with circuit boards, cameras, flexes, or other sensitive electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in building hardware products.
  • Background in electronics manufacturing or IT.
  • Experience with assembly production, NPI (New Product Introduction) production, and assembly repair/test/troubleshooting.
  • Interest and passion for world-class drone manufacturing.
  • Ability to be trainable, coachable, and receptive to feedback.

Shift:

Day Shift: M-F 6am-2:30pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr.
