Job Summary:
BlackLake Security is a global leader in digital security, specializing in innovative cybersecurity solutions. They are seeking a NetScout Engineer with expertise in OCI and AED to enhance network visibility and threat mitigation through deployment, troubleshooting, and integration of NetScout solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and optimize NetScout OCI & AED solutions for enterprise environments, ensuring peak performance and security.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues leveraging NetScout’s suite of tools.
• Work with security and network teams to integrate OCI & AED with existing security frameworks, SIEMs, and cloud environments.
• Utilize NetScout solutions to analyze network traffic, identify anomalies, and enhance security posture.
• Ensure all deployments align with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, SOPs, and provide training to internal teams or clients.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetScout OCI & AED solutions.
• Strong background in network traffic analysis, performance monitoring, and security event detection.
• Expertise in network security protocols, packet analysis, and forensic investigations.
• Experience working with enterprise and cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with SIEMs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Certifications such as NetScout nGenius Certified Professional, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.
