Summit Place KIA is growing and we are looking for a first-class Automotive Service Advisor Assistant for our dealerships in the greater Detroit area - we have locations in Oakland and Macomb county. We are looking for dedicated team players with a winning attitude and service experience who have a passion to help. The Service Advisor Assistant is responsible for:
  • Outstanding customer service!
  • Build trust and respect with customers, listen and repeat back
  • Use active listening to engage and understand their vehicle issues and concerns
  • Create repair orders and clearly communicate vehicle needs to service technicians
  • Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers and ability to advise and sell needed work
  • Follow up, keeping customer updated on their vehicles throughout the repair process
  • Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional Service Lane and Lounge
  • Answer phones promptly throughout the day
  • Be helpful amp; accommodating (scheduling and transportation)
  • Prominently display current promotions
  • Greet customers promptly and enthusiastically at their vehicle
Qualifications
  • Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers required.
  • Dealertrack experience very helpful.
