We're an established, independently owned European and import automotive repair facility looking for an experienced Service Advisor / Assistant Shop Manager to join our leadership team.
This is more than a traditional Service Advisor role. We're looking for someone who thrives on building relationships, creating exceptional customer experiences, supporting technicians, and helping lead daily shop operations.

Responsibilities
As our Service Advisor / Assistant Shop Manager, you will:
  • Build lasting relationships with customers through honest communication and exceptional service.
  • Guide customers through the repair process from vehicle check-in through delivery.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and obtain repair authorizations.
  • Clearly explain repair recommendations, maintenance needs, and timelines.
  • Communicate proactively with customers throughout the repair process.
  • Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and vendors to maximize shop efficiency.
  • Assist with scheduling, dispatching, and daily operational workflow.
  • Source, order, receive, and process returns for automotive parts as needed.
  • Work closely with the Shop Manager to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall shop performance.
  • Help maintain a professional, organized, and positive workplace culture.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who brings both technical knowledge and strong people skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor is required.
  • Experience in an independent automotive repair facility is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with European and import vehicles is highly preferred.
  • Experience using Tekmetric shop management software is a plus.
  • Experience with automotive parts ordering, receiving, inventory management, and returns is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong computer and technology skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
