Job description


The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of a wide range of strategic marketing initiatives at Hilltop Holdings, with a concentration on PlainsCapital Bank. This role partners closely with executive leadership, lending, branch, and operations teams to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement and strengthen brand consistency. The Senior Marketing Manager collaborates with cross-functional marketing teams, including corporate communications, creative, digital experience, and events, to develop tailored marketing solutions for PlainsCapital Bank.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as marketing project manager for a diverse portfolio of marketing initiatives for PlainsCapital Bank
  • Manages a team supporting campaigns and communications specific to PlainsCapital Bank
  • Oversees and develops customer and internal communications related to products, marketing initiatives, regulatory matters, branch openings/closings, and more
  • Responsible for the creation of sales presentations, marketing collateral materials, and in-branch promotional items
  • Ensures brand consistency and accuracy across all marketing and digital content
  • Leads advertising campaigns from strategic development and creative production to deployment and reporting
  • Coordinates regional advertising, including outdoor, print, TV, radio, and digital
  • Maintains relationships with media partners and external vendors
  • In conjunction with the events team, coordinate local regional events, including grand openings and customer receptions
  • Meets with regional marketing advisory committees regularly; responsible for creating and executing yearly region-specific advertising/marketing plans
  • Oversees email marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Oversees and implements marketing initiatives within the online banking platform
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field
โ€ข 10-15 years of progressive, professional marketing experience required; experience in financial services marketing strongly preferred
โ€ข 3-5 years of experience managing, coaching, and developing direct reports
โ€ข Ability to promote a positive image of the company and represent the company's interests required
โ€ข Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization required
โ€ข Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office suite required, experience with SharePoint and web content management systems a plus
โ€ข Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously required
โ€ข Must be a team player, collaborative, and willing to contribute to a diverse range of projects
โ€ข Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and demonstrated decision making ability required
