Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, results-driven Sales Manager to build and lead our sales team and drive revenue through advertising, marketing concierge services, and event sales for local businesses.
Initially, as our new Sales Manager, you will serve as an individual contributor, generating leads and closing sales as you build out a scalable framework for a fully developed sales team.
Ultimately, this position is a true leadership role, with a strong emphasis on people management, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team. You will set and achieve sales goals, manage the sales funnel, oversee sales quotas, and ensure the accuracy of forecasts while leading by example to inspire and motivate your team.
More specifically, you will:
Foster a team-oriented, high-energy environment focused on meeting and exceeding sales goals through coaching, mentorship, and process refinement.
Own the sales funnel, working with inbound and outbound leads, and ensuring that the team is effectively managing prospects.
Develop and manage sales quotas and performance metrics, holding the team accountable for results.
Recruit, train, and onboard new sales representatives, setting them up for success with clear goals and ongoing development.
Lead client engagement and event sponsorship sales, including attending 6-12 major local events per year to foster relationships, build business opportunities, and drive sales.
Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic sales initiatives, ensuring sales targets align with company goals and growth strategies.

Requirements:
