About the Role

Powered by Simon's industry-leading first-party shopper data, premium destinations, and omnichannel media ecosystem, we help advertisers reach high-intent audiences and drive measurable business outcomes.

AsManager, Audience Solutions & Insights, you will play a critical role in transforming audience intelligence into campaign strategy, activation, measurement, and revenue growth. You will serve as the strategic bridge between advertiser objectives, audience data, media execution, and business outcomes, helping the Sales Team maximize the value of Simon's unique consumer insights across digital, programmatic, retail media, and digital out-of-home (DOOH) channels. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable building audience segments within a platform UI, developing media and measurement strategies, analyzing campaign performance, and presenting actionable recommendations to advertisers, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Audience Strategy & Activation

  • Build, test, optimize, and activate audience segments using Simon Media Network's audience management and activation platforms.
  • Translate advertiser objectives into audience-driven strategies that support customer acquisition, loyalty, retention, cross-shopping, and category growth initiatives.
  • Leverage Simon's first-party shopper, visitation, and behavioral data to develop scalable audience strategies across digital, programmatic, retail media, and DOOH environments.
  • Partner with the Sales team to identify the most effective audience approaches based on campaign objectives, inventory availability, budget parameters, and measurement goals.
  • Develop category-specific audience products and packaged solutions that can be scaled across multiple advertisers and verticals.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Media teams to enhance audience capabilities and identify opportunities for new audience offerings.

Measurement, Insights & Data Storytelling

  • Analyze campaign performance, audience engagement, visitation trends, and commerce outcomes to uncover actionable insights that improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop post-campaign analyses and executive-ready reporting that clearly demonstrates audience impact, business outcomes, and opportunities for future investment.
  • Support measurement initiatives including visitation lift, customer acquisition, audience quality, sales impact, closed-loop attribution, and incrementality studies.
  • Evaluate audience performance across both digital and DOOH activations, identifying opportunities to improve targeting efficiency, media effectiveness, and overall campaign outcomes.
  • Identify shopper behavior, category, and audience trends that inform optimization strategies and future media recommendations.
  • Build standardized and customized reporting frameworks that make complex audience and performance data accessible to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Client Consultation & Strategic Advisory

  • Serve as an audience strategy and measurement subject matter expert supporting Sales in client conversations across advertiser and agency partners.
  • Support and contribute to audience planning conversations during campaign development, business reviews, QBRs, and performance presentations with Sales and Client Success.
  • Translate campaign results into meaningful business outcomes and strategic recommendations that support renewals, upsell opportunities, and long-term partnerships.
  • Educate clients on Simon Media Network's audience capabilities, activation approaches, omnichannel media solutions, and measurement methodologies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping advertisers maximize the value of Simon's first-party consumer data across the full shopper journey.

Sales Enablement & Revenue Growth

  • Serve as the audience and insights SME supporting the sales team, providing strategic guidance that strengthens client conversations and drives revenue growth.
  • Partner with Sales teams on RFP responses, proactive proposals, new business opportunities, and strategic client presentations.
  • Develop audience recommendations, activation plans, and measurement frameworks that strengthen pre-sale and renewal conversations.
  • Connect audience insights and campaign outcomes to future investment recommendations and expanded media opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase client investment through audience expansion, cross-channel activation, and enhanced measurement solutions.
  • Support the growth of Simon Media Network by demonstrating how audience intelligence drives measurable commerce outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Client Success, Ad Operations, Product, Analytics, and Media teams to ensure successful campaign planning and execution.
  • Act as the internal SME for SMN audience strategy and insights, aligning cross-functional teams around best practices and client objectives.
  • Provide audience expertise that informs media strategy, campaign delivery, optimization, and measurement across Simon's digital and DOOH inventory.
  • Share advertiser feedback and marketplace trends to influence future product development and platform enhancements.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in commerce media, retail media, audience activation, identity resolution, attribution, and consumer measurement.
  • Help establish best practices for audience strategy, campaign measurement, and client consulting as Simon Media Network continues to scale.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in retail media, commerce media, programmatic advertising, audience strategy, media analytics, customer insights, or a client-facing media planning role.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating campaign performance, audience effectiveness, attribution, and business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience building and activating audiences within DSPs, CDPs, DMPs, retail media platforms, audience management solutions, or advertising technology platforms.
  • Working knowledge of programmatic, retail media, paid social, search, omnichannel media planning, and advertising measurement methodologies.
  • Experience translating data and analytics into compelling stories, recommendations, and client-facing presentations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify com

  • Proven success managing advertiser and agency relationships while collaborating across multiple internal teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar reporting and visualization tools.

  • Experience within a retail media network, commerce media platform, major retailer advertising business, agency commerce practice, or advertising technology company.
  • Experience leveraging first-party consumer data through customer data platforms (CDPs), data clean rooms, identity resolution solutions, and audience activation technologies to develop scalable audience strategies across digital and physical media environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect audience intelligence to campaign activation, optimization, and delivery across programmatic, retail media, and DOOH channels.
