Marketing & Communications Manager
The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for leading the execution of Ryan Fireprotection's marketing and communication strategy across all divisions and locations. This role manages the day-to-day operations of the Marketing & Communications team, ensuring that initiatives are aligned, prioritized, and delivered at a high level.
This position serves as the bridge between strategy and execution, translating company goals into actionable marketing plans while supporting and developing a team of marketing professionals. The Marketing & Communications Manager ensures consistency in messaging, strengthens brand presence, and drives digital performance to support both construction and service growth.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop the Marketing & Communications team, including the Senior Marketing Specialist and Senior Digital Communications Specialist
  • Provide clear direction, priorities, and feedback to ensure high-quality output across all marketing and communication efforts
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, support professional growth, and ensure team accountability
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Marketing Execution & Oversight
  • Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives across all divisions, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities
  • Review and approve marketing materials, campaigns, and communications to maintain quality and consistency
  • Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and are completed on time

Digital Strategy & Performance
  • Lead digital marketing strategy across all channels, including website, SEO, paid advertising, and social platforms
  • Oversee development and execution of strategic advertising campaigns designed to increase market visibility, lead generation, and brand awareness
  • Optimize performance across SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) to improve visibility in both search engines and AI-driven platforms

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Identify opportunities to better support revenue growth through marketing initiatives

Brand & Messaging Consistency
  • Maintain consistency in Ryan Fireprotection's brand, voice, and messaging across all platforms and materials
  • Ensure alignment across internal communications, external marketing, and regional initiatives
  • Protect and strengthen the company's brand reputation

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with regional leadership, sales, operations, and HR to align marketing efforts with business priorities
  • Ensure digital targeting and campaign strategies reflect location-specific services, capabilities, and growth goals
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between departments and the Marketing & Communications team
  • Ensure clear communication and visibility of marketing initiatives across the organization

Process & Performance Management
  • Establish and refine processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability within the department
  • Monitor team performance and ensure accountability across all responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and overall execution

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team
  • Strong background in digital marketing strategy, SEO, paid advertising, and performance optimization
  • Experience developing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable strategy
  • Experience supporting sales and business development efforts
