Position Located in: Lincoln, NE

Advertising Intern

We are looking for an Advertising Intern to support our marketing goals through market research, developing campaign materials, and digital/traditional marketing. This role requires a creative mind whoโ€™s not afraid to try different strategies based on market research and analytics.

This is a great role for a student wanting to grow their marketing/advertising knowledge and test their creative skills.

What Youโ€™ll Do

You will be responsible for creating and organizing digital and traditional marketing, managing social media accounts, providing campaign support, and market research. This includes designing basic graphics/infographics, creating social media posts and scheduling them, draft marketing and promotional materials, research trends and competitors, and collaborating with others in the marketing team to support brand image.

You will be working with a hybrid marketing team, customers, and others within the company to capture content.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with others to meet marketing and advertising goals; this includes creating and adhering to a multi-media schedule as well as assisting in marketing/advertising strategies.
  • Draft marketing emails, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Take ownership in your projects and identify opportunities for improvement; create mockups and be able to clearly describe your vision.
  • Manage social media accounts.
  • Assist in promotional event planning and coordination.
  • Analyze engagement metrics, research trends, and explore competitor content.
  • Assist in SEO/website management.
  • Communicate effectively; this job will require you to capture a wide range of subjects such as trailer manufacturing, farming, and office employees.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, advertising, content creation, videography, web management, or project ownership.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Apple Creator Studio.
  • Familiar with Google Analytics and/or Google Trends.
  • Familiar with Google Ads and/or Meta Ads Manager.
  • Familiar with a social media planner as well as reading and analyzing engagement metrics for social media accounts.
  • Strong communication skills with both the marketing team, individuals being filmed/photographed, and vendors.
  • Ability to adhere to (or expand on) a multi-media schedule and voice opinions.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience.
  • Proof of successful social media campaigns.
  • Experience using Squarespace or a similar website building and hosting platform.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with evolving requirements.
