RN Center Manager Adult Day

At JABA, our Respite & Enrichment Center is more than an Adult Day Centerit's a place where older adults find purpose, connection, and compassionate care, and where caregivers gain the peace of mind they need. We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our team and help shape the future of person-centered aging services.

What You'll Do

As the Center Manager, you'll blend your clinical expertise with compassionate leadership to oversee the daily operations of our Adult Day Center.

You'll:

  • Lead a team committed to providing exceptional, person-centered care.
  • Oversee participant health, safety, and overall quality of care.
  • Complete nursing assessments, care planning, and clinical oversight while partnering closely with families and healthcare providers.
  • Foster an engaging environment where older adults living with cognitive and physical challenges can thrive.
  • Ensure compliance with Virginia Adult Day Center regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff while creating a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Build relationships with physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, case managers, and community partners to expand access to our services.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen programming, improve participant outcomes, and support caregivers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license strongly preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience in geriatrics, dementia care, home health, hospice, rehabilitation, adult day services, or long-term care
  • Strong assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following Virginia Adult Day Center Director qualifications:

  • Current Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities.
  • Current licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator or Assisted Living Facility Administrator through the Virginia Board of Long-Term Care Administrators.
  • Individuals continuously employed in a licensed Adult Day Center prior to July 1, 2000, who meet Virginia regulatory requirements are also eligible.
