What You'll Do

Prestige Healthcare Resources Inc (PHRI) is seeking an experienced, pro-active, Compassionate and highly detailed-oriented Day Program Manager who can make a substantial and valuable impact to the organization by providing quality care and addiction counseling to the community. The Day Rehabilitation Program Manager is responsible The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of all therapeutic programs, with a focus on group sessions. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of mental health treatment to ensure the highest standards of care for our clients. The Day Program Manager ensures that all services are delivered in compliance with program standards, clinical best practices, and organizational policies while fostering a therapeutic, recovery-focused environment for consumers.

Program Administration & Oversight

  • Design, implement, and manage therapeutic programs that meet the diverse needs of clients, emphasizing group therapy and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of the Day Rehabilitation Program.
  • Ensure program compliance with DBH, DHCF, CARF, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor program workflows, policies, SOPs, and procedures.
  • Review and monitor consumer schedules, group activities, and service delivery to ensure alignment with treatment goals.

Clinical Oversight

  • Supervise clinical staff and ensure all required credentials, licensure, and training remain compliant.
  • Ensure DL20 assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation are completed accurately and timely.
  • Oversee coordination of care with MHRS, ACT, SUD, and other internal or external providers.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case reviews.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance service delivery and support client needs.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Monitor compliance with DBH and DHCF billing and authorization requirements, including Comagine authorization processes.
  • Ensure documentation meets quality standards and supports medical necessity.
  • Review internal audit results and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Ensure consumer records adhere to HIPAA, confidentiality, and agency privacy standards.

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations for program staff.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, coverage, and workflow assignments.
  • Identify training needs and ensure staff participation in required trainings (HIPAA, FWA, Incident Management, DL20, LMS, etc.).

Program Development

  • Lead the implementation and growth of the Day Rehabilitation Program.
  • Monitor program data, outcomes, and performance indicators for quality improvement.
  • Assist in developing new groups, therapeutic activities, and recovery-focused interventions.
  • Ensure culturally competent service delivery that supports recovery, empowerment, and inclusion.

Consumer Relations & Engagement

  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all consumers.
  • Resolve consumer complaints, grievances, or concerns in accordance with agency policy.
  • Support strong consumer engagement and retention in the program.

Administrative & Reporting Requirements

  • Complete required program reports, tracking logs, and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure accurate encounter documentation and billing processes.
  • Assist leadership during DBH or DHCF audits, reviews, certification, and re-certification.

Billing Management

  • Oversee the billing process for all services provided at the Day Treatment Center, including group therapeutic sessions, ensuring timely and accurate submission of claims to insurance providers.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial sustainability.

Required Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
  • Proven experience in program management and leadership within a mental health or treatment setting.
  • Strong understanding of group therapy techniques and mental health diagnoses.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build relationships with clients and families.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in mental health care.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
