Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a large, long-term customer engagement focused on construction, facility customization, and operational stand-up. This role will be responsible for overseeing program execution from facility leasing through buildout and transitioning the program into steady-state operations.
The Program Manager will own the master program schedule and be responsible for cost tracking, vendor coordination, and reporting cadence, while providing day-to-day leadership and resource management across a small administrative support team. The ideal candidate has direct experience with construction contracts, schedule-driven delivery environments, and financial oversight for complex programs.
This position requires daily, in-person presence at the primary worksite.
Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the master program schedule, including construction milestones, inspections, and operational readiness activities
  • Support stakeholders in defining program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Ensure all workstreams are properly resourced, sequenced, and executed in alignment with customer and business priorities
  • Track and manage multiple concurrent projects and task orders within the overall program

Financial Management & Cost Control
  • Perform financial tracking, cost assessments, and variance analysis across the program
  • Support budget development, forecast updates, and funding alignment
  • Monitor vendor invoices, change orders, and cost performance against contractual terms

Vendor & Contract Management
  • Coordinate and manage construction vendors, subcontractors, and service providers
  • Support administration of construction and facilities-related contracts
  • Track vendor performance, deliverables, and compliance with schedule and scope

Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare and deliver monthly program status reports, including schedule, cost, risks, and issues
  • Provide clear, timely communication to internal leadership and customer stakeholders
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks impacting schedule, cost, or performance

Resource & Team Management
  • Effectively allocate and manage administrative and program support personnel
  • Provide tasking, prioritization, and coordination across the program support team
  • Serve as the primary in-person point of contact for day-to-day program coordination and issue resolution

Process & Compliance
  • Utilize appropriate program and project management tools to track progress and performance
  • Continuously improve program management processes and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable industry standards

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or associated area
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction, facilities, or infrastructure-related programs
  • Demonstrated experience managing schedules, budgets, vendors, and resources on complex, multi-phase projects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost, schedule, and performance data
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
  • Ability to adapt program management approaches to customer-driven and evolving requirements
