Job Description:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in supporting our Production Operations teams by delivering both hands-on and strategic HR partnership. Rooted in our commitment to fostering a vibrant, purpose-driven workplace, the HRBP will work closely with production leadership to align people strategies with operational goals, enabling a high-performing, engaged, and empowered workforce. This role acts as a trusted advisor to leaders, driving initiatives that strengthen employee development, collaboration, and operational excellence. HRBPs are actively engaged with our teams across the production environment, maintaining a visible and supportive presence to promote strong relationships, address concerns proactively, and reinforce our culture of continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing employee relations matters with care and integrity, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, and championing a positive and inclusive employee experience. Additionally, the HRBP will support key HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement initiatives, HR metrics and compliance reporting, performance management, and the development of HR policies and best practices that reflect GT's Living Foods' mission and values. By cultivating meaningful connections at every level of the operation, the HRBP helps foster an environment where every employee feels seen, valued, and inspired to grow.
Essential Duties:
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner by delivering the full range of HR services with a strong focus on employee relations, conflict resolution, compliance, and risk mitigation, while also supporting talent acquisition, engagement, and culture initiatives.
  • Lead the resolution of complex and high-level employee relations issues, including conducting thorough investigations, addressing grievances, managing disciplinary actions, coaching managers, and ensuring documentation and processes are compliant with legal and company standards.
  • Partner closely with leadership and employees to proactively address workplace concerns, strengthen relationships, build morale, and drive a positive and productive work environment.
  • Provide expert guidance to managers on handling sensitive performance management issues, corrective actions, terminations, and workplace accommodations, ensuring consistency and adherence to policies.
  • Identify patterns, root causes, and systemic issues in employee relations trends, and develop strategic action plans to mitigate risks and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage talent acquisition activities by partnering with hiring managers on job descriptions, recruiting strategies, and internal hiring initiatives, aligned with workforce planning needs.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives by gathering feedback, analyzing trends, and assisting in the implementation of action plans that promote retention and a healthy work culture.
  • Assist with training initiatives for leaders and supervisors on key HR topics, including employee relations best practices, effective performance management, harassment prevention, and conflict resolution.
  • Perform administrative HR functions, including maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HRIS transactions, and ensuring compliance in areas such as benefits, compensation, and onboarding/offboarding.
  • Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR regulations, and provide timely updates and guidance to leaders regarding legislative or policy changes.
  • Lead or contribute to HR-driven projects and initiatives such as organizational change efforts, engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting company values and ensuring HR practices align with the broader business strategy.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned to support the HR function and business objectives.
