Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing HR Department in our Manhattan, NYC office. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides day to day HR support and consultative guidance to leaders and employees across the R&D organization.
  • Partners effectively with leaders to ensure they scale, onboard, engage, and retain their teams successfully.
  •  Design and implement appropriate programs or initiatives that make sense for respective client groups and, if necessary, across the organization.
  • Partner closely with HR colleagues to communicate needs and challenges of the business as well as in helping formulate solutions to take back to the business leaders.
  • Provides strategic HR consultative support across all areas of HR while articulating the execution actions necessary to achieve the strategy.
  •  Consults and serves as a strategic partner & generalist regarding all HR matters including total rewards, talent acquisition, performance management, culture indoctrination, talent management, training, and employee relations.
  • Handles employee relations matters with discretion and confidentially as necessary and in partnership with legal as appropriate.
  • Utilizes HR systems for data related needs as well as ensuring data accuracy. Utilizes data as a way to influence strategies and decisions.
  • Other necessary duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 13+ years overall HR experience, significant HR Generalist or HRBP experience required
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Organization Development, Psychology, Business Administration or Human Resources highly desired.
  • Experience supporting technology, R&D, engineering, research and 

    other related technical organizations is highly preferred 

  • Experience operating as a HRBP in functional, matrix, and global environments
  • Experience operating as a HRBP in a global environment and in partnering with HR globally highly preferred
  • Experience working with organizations going through change or transformation preferred
  • Experience as a HRBP supporting functional or corporate areas such as engineering, research, technology, etc.
  •  Working knowledge of employment related laws, regulations, and practices and/or PHR preferred.
  •   Ability to effectively respond orally or in written form to internal customer questions in a fast paced environment
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), ADP, Workday
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • High level of comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and proactively act on areas for successfully evolving the capabilities of the HR function
  • A demonstrated ability to flex between tactical execution and strategic capability on a day to day basis
  • A demonstrated ability to adapt approach, style, and influencing capability based on the culture of the organization
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner
  • Demonstrated capability as a self-starter, collaborator, and in having a global mindset
