Job description

Job Title: Admissions Processor
Classification: Professional
Division: Student Success
Department: Admissions
Reports to: Senior Admissions Specialist
FLSA: Salaried, Exempt
Job Summary:
Provides lead support in application process. Responsibilities include providing customer service to students, faculty and staff, informing management of support issues, backlogs, or errors. Provides training to new and continuing staff members ipROn the process of application processing. Creates, maintains and organizes files and student records using an imaging system and University student system software. Must exhibit excellent customer service skills; be detail-oriented; possess the ability to handle multiple tasks; ability to work independently and as a team is preferred.
Essential Functions:
โ€ข Processes all incoming applications and accompanying transcripts, test scores and recommendation letters for all applicants (undergraduate, transfer, graduate, international)
โ€ข Enters all application data from application CRM into systems database
โ€ข Prepares and maintains student documentation during enrollment process
โ€ข Monitors inquiries, files and databases efficiently and effectively to ensure that all tasks completely accurately and efficiently
โ€ข Tracks and processes all incoming application fees and deposits
โ€ข Serves as liaison to Admissions Officers, Enrollment Officers and other internal departments as appropriate
โ€ข Serves as back-up coverage for the admissions reception front desk
โ€ข Maintains communication by phone, email, and/or mail correspondence with prospective students through all stages of the recruitment and admission process in a courteous, transparent, efficient, and timely manner;
โ€ข Utilizes CRM system to communicate with students, process admissions, prepare reports, or analyze data;
โ€ข Assist with departmental activities as needed and participate in university-wide events;
โ€ข Attend admissions meetings and participates in all college-wide programs
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
โ€ข Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university;
โ€ข One (1) years of admissions and/or customer service-related experience;
โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of establishing a courteous and professional rapport through personal and distance communication tools;
โ€ข Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures;
โ€ข Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions;
โ€ข Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects and demands.
โ€ข The ability to work evenings and some weekends is required;
โ€ข Excellent human relations and administrative skills, especially the ability to manage sensitive information with decorum and confidentiality;
โ€ข Experience working with customer relations management (CRM) system (Ellucian CRM Recruit, Slate, etc.)
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
โ€ข Knowledge of Lincoln University Educational and Campus Programs
โ€ข Knowledge of post-secondary admission procedures
โ€ข Experience working with customer relations management system (Ellucian CRM Recruit)
โ€ข Bilingual
Physical Demands:
Moderate lifting up to 20 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and body mobility to stoop, kneel, bend and reach.
Work Environment:
Work is primarily performed in a university campus environment and requires a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend work
