Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Admissions Processing, the Admissions Processor is responsible for reviewing prospective freshman, transfer, post-baccalaureate, transient, and returning student application files. This position also articulates transfer credit, provides admission decisions for all student populations, and assists with counseling prospective students/families on admissions procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Enter data from application and related documents into the Banner Student Information System and Technolutions Slate
  • Scan and index documents using Banner Document Management (BDM) and Technolutions Slate including downloading and indexing electronic transcripts
  • Perform Required High School Curriculum (RHSC) evaluations and calculate High School GPAs for incoming students
  • Articulate transfer credit information and submit course evaluations for transfer student populations
  • Perform application updates, including, but not limited to: term updates, personal information updates, and major changes
  • Review application materials to determine eligibility for admission based on the requirements set by the University
  • Assist with on-campus recruitment and orientation events throughout the year, including some mandatory events after hours and on weekends
  • Answer routine student, parent and counselor inquiries concerning admissions policies and procedures
  • Work with Admissions Counselor(s) to meet enrollment goals

  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience (education could substitute for work experience)

Proposed Salary
$18.90 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
