Job description

Admissions Director Requirements:

  • Should be familiar with LaGrange area and the surrounding community

  • Sell and promotes facility services in GA

  • Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition.

  • Must have long term care experience

  • Nursing background preferred as you must be able to review medical referrals and determine appropriateness

  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management

  • Respond to Case Management and SWs at hospitals and other facilities about referrals

  • Familiar with Medicare, GA Medicaid, HMO insurances

  • Familiar with PCC and Epic

  • Present tours of facility to perspective residents

  • Sign admissions agreements

  • Attend weekly UR meetings and weekly census calls

Job Type: Full-time

Admissions Director Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Day shift

  • Monday to Friday with evenings and weekends as needed

Admissions Director Education:

  • Bachelors (Preferred)

Admissions Director Experience:

  • Healthcare Admissions: 2 year (Preferred)

  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Skilled Nursing Facility: 2 year (Preferred)
