Job Summary / Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly capable Salesforce Administrator to manage WeldFit's CRM platform. This role requires a proactive individual to help us continually improve and enhance how we use Salesforce.

The Salesforce Administrator's responsibilities include creating user accounts, maintaining our sales databases, system troubleshooting, system improvements, security management, system configuration and automation, data integrity, training, and ongoing platform enhancement and training staff on the effective use of Salesforce products.

To ensure success, the candidate must possess knowledge of Salesforce system administration and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. The candidate should be comfortable liaising with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and IT, enjoy learning new business processes to translate them into technical and reporting solutions.

Responsibility

  • Ensure optimal performance and uptime of the Salesforce platform and connected applications.
  • Champion Salesforce excellence by ensuring our instance reflects best-in-class architecture and configuration. Stay current with Salesforce releases, industry best practices, and emerging features, proactively recommending and implementing improvements to keep our system modern, scalable, and competitive.
  • Manage Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and groups; provision and deactivate access as needed.
  • Import, cleanse, and maintain CRM data including leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities; perform routine data integrity audits and duplicate management.
  • Maintain the sales cloud, as well as build custom reports and dashboards.
  • Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
  • Evaluate and deploy new Salesforce releases and enhancements; partner with third-party vendors or consultants as needed for system integrations and special projects.
  • Document processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
  • Maintain and implement custom process automations, in line with business processes.
  • Implement and manage automation tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning components.
  • Configure custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and automation using Flow, Process Builder, and Lightning components.
  • Provide ongoing user support, troubleshooting, and training; develop training materials and conduct sessions to enhance user proficiency.
