General Purpose

Provide personal administrative support to management and the company through conducting and organizing administrative duties and activities including receiving and handling information.

Main Job
Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, emails and relay messages

  • Process mail accordingly

  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents

  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, travel arrangements

  • Take, type and distribute minutes of meetings

  • Maintain schedules and calendars

  • Arrange and confirm appointments

  • Organize internal and external events as needed

  • Handle incoming mail and other material

  • Maintain paperless filing systems for those they assist

  • Follow work procedures

  • Communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and
    provide information

  • Liaison with internal and external contacts

  • Coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally
    related to those they assist

  • Process tax returns

  • Be a cheerful representative of the company and relay a helpful and
    accommodating environment

  • Overtime is required during peak periods of business.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 5+ as an administrative assistant, experienced in an accounting
    firm preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of CCH products such as Practice Management, ProsystemFX
    Tax and Engagement a plus.

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

  • Knowledge of business principles

  • Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English
    language skills a must

  • Proven experience of producing correspondence and documents
