Position Summary
Coordinates, oversees, and/or performs a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, and program support activities on behalf of an Associate Vice President, Associate Provost, Deputy Provost, Director, and/or comparable senior officer of the University. Serves as primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies, including Board of Regents, often on complex and confidential issues. Coordinates the provision of office and staff support services to the office, and oversees and/or participates in the coordination, supervision, and completion of special projects and/or events. May serve on a variety of committees in a support capacity.

  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

  • Verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by cover letter.
  • Experience working with a diverse group of internal and external constituents to complete projects.
  • Professional experience in administrative support in a higher education setting.
  • Experience in purchasing and budget planning.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentialityand protect sensitive information.
