Description

Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a Program Office Administrative Support Specialist to support a prospective effort with the Global Positioning Network (GPN) Program Office (PO). This is a Contingent Hire position.

Our clients include the Department of Defense (DoD), (including Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Position Summary

Provide comprehensive executive, administrative, correspondence, records, and task-management support to GPN Program Office leadership and functional sections in a high-tempo DoD headquarters environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complex executive calendars, internal and external meetings, official travel coordination, and visitor clearances.

Draft, format, proofread, route, and track official correspondence in accordance with Navy and Marine Corps writing standards.

Receive, track, and process DoN ETMS2 tasks and AMHS messages on NIPRNet and SIPRNet, up to the Secret level.

Maintain action-item trackers, SharePoint repositories, program records, suspense dates, and status updates.

Support conferences and events; prepare position papers, briefings, policy handbooks, and task responses.

Produce accurate graphics, reports, presentations, and other office products within established timelines.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience providing skilled administrative or technical support in a DoD, federal, or comparable executive office.

Advanced writing, editing, proofreading, data-entry, records-management, and coordination skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

Ability to manage competing priorities and sensitive information with accuracy and professionalism.

Active Secret clearance and eligibility for a DoD CAC.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with DoN ETMS2, AMHS, NIPRNet, and SIPRNet.

Familiarity with Navy and Marine Corps correspondence and routing procedures.

Work Conditions

Work may be performed on-site at the Pentagon or Quantico, Virginia, or at a contractor facility, as designated by the Government.

Government business hours are generally 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday; the workday must support Government business hours.

Some positions may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Employment is contingent upon contract award, position availability, verification of qualifications, and satisfaction of security and onboarding requirements.
