Administrative Assistant | Clinvet South Dakota | Full-Time

Our Story 

Clinvet South Dakota is a global veterinary contract research organization (CRO) that conducts preclinical and clinical trials to evaluate the safety, metabolism and efficacy of animal health products. Clinvet SD is part of the Clinglobal group, which focuses on animal health and consists of various CROs dedicated to supporting innovation and product development.

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of our South Dakota site by coordinating administrative activities, maintaining organized office processes, and providing exceptional support to the management team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the management team while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Perform data entry and maintain organized electronic and paper records.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and company events.
  • Coordinate on-site meetings, training sessions, and employee luncheons.
  • Order office supplies and monitor inventory levels.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information, vendor records, financial documents, visitor information, and internal communications.
  • Assist with office procedures, document preparation, and general administrative support.
  • Participate in required training, procedural updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least one year of relevant experience; or
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of experience in office administration, business support, reception, travel coordination, vendor coordination, or a related administrative role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with office administration, reception, travel coordination, vendor support, purchasing, inventory management, or credit card reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience using office management or business support software.
  • Experience working in a regulated, laboratory, veterinary, scientific, CRO, healthcare, or quality-controlled environment is a plus.
