Job description

Our industrial client is looking for an Administrator/Order Desk Clerk to support their department for a 6 week period.  Do you enjoy helping customers? Are you familiar with receipt and follow up of orders? Are you looking to fit into a busy office right away? We’d love to speak to you about this opportunity in SE Calgary! 

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers effectively through phone and email
  • Emailing, entering and filing invoices 
  • Maintaining sales orders; entering and updating in the system
  • Handle credit memos
  • Actively work to meet customers’ needs and create a positive experience 
  • Other administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service within manufacturing or a related industry would be an asset
  • Professional phone manner and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to perform in high-volume, fast paced environment 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Good problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Strong math skills, able to calculate square footage and pricing from customer price tables
  • Highly skilled with MS Office including Excel and Outlook
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills 
  • Exceptional attention to details and strong data entry skills
