Takco Construction is a leading construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We pride ourselves on our strong team culture and commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking an experienced Admin Clerk to join our dynamic team.


Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Admin Clerk to manage the accounts payable function within our company. The ideal candidate will have experience with pay applications, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, bidding on projects, managing timesheets and experience with pay apps.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review invoices for accuracy and appropriate documentation.
  • Manage pay applications, ensuring timely and accurate submission and processing.
  • Maintain vendor files and handle vendor inquiries.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end closing and accruals.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate and assist other departments to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Experience with pay applications is required.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
