Description
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Adhesion & Laser Process Lab Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining precision adhesive joint systems and laser processing operations within a state-of-the-art lab environment. You will work at the intersection of materials science, process engineering, and manufacturing innovation, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to drive process excellence.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in precision adhesive processes, practical laser equipment operation experience, and a passion for continuous improvement. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role that requires strong experimental design skills, clear communication with leadership, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities. You must be comfortable working in required PPE and thrive in an environment that demands both scientific rigor and hands-on problem solving.
Minimum Qualifications
3-5+ years relevant experience working with precision adhesive processes such as dispense and lamination
BS minimum (MS preferred) in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or relevant STEM field
International travel up to 20%
This is not a hybrid role and requires 100% onsite work in the lab
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing experiments focused on selecting optimal adhesive chemistry, processes and joint designs
Familiar with operating, including programming, various dispense tools.
Familiar and comfortable working in required PPE
Hands on, fast learner, excited to design trials, debug and fix equipment/tools.
Detailed oriented, organized, self starter, and motivated in a fast-paced work environment
Proficient in CAD (NX, Catia, Solidworks)
