Job description

ATP North America is a leader in adhesive solutions and coated products, delivering high-quality, pressure-sensitive materials for a variety of industrial applications. We are committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement while supporting a high-performance, team-oriented environment.
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with a background in adhesives, coating, converting, and slitting operations. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring product quality, and supporting efficient manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate coating, converting, and slitting equipment to produce adhesive products
  • Set up machines, perform changeovers, and make adjustments to maintain product quality
  • Load raw materials and remove finished goods from production lines
  • Monitor machine performance, including speeds, temperatures, pressures, and material flow
  • Inspect products using measuring tools and visual checks to ensure quality standards are met
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Follow production schedules to meet output and efficiency targets
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts
  • Maintain accurate production records and equipment logs
  • Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and team goals
  • Assist in other production tasks as needed

Requirements
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in:
  • Adhesives
  • Coating and converting
  • Slitting operations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and machine settings
  • Experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, and process adjustments
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Work Environment
