Job description

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Addiction Outpatient Therapist to join our addiction services program, Stepping Stone. In this role, you will provide outpatient services to adult patients with primary diagnoses of substance abuse or addiction. The position primarily requires working during regular business hours (Monday to Friday), with occasional evening hours as needed.

$5,000 Sign-On BONUS!

($2,500 upon 90 days of employment / $2,500 after 180 days of employment)

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
  • Provide individual, group, family, and marital psychotherapy.
  • Deliver emergency crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Provide Family Education and support when appropriate.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation of Treatment Plan/Goals and patient's progress toward meeting those goals.
  • Coordinate patient care with other members of the treatment team.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide consultation/education service as needed to other Southwestern staff and outside professional groups and community members.
  • Supervise and train students as appropriate.
  • Facilitate other Residential or Outpatient functions as assigned.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

  • Preference given for those with a Master’s degree in Social Work with an LSW or LCSW.  Applicants with an LMFT or LMHC are also considered.  
  • LCAC Preferred
  • Applicant must have knowledge of relevant clinical issues and self-help group programs.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
