Job description

*We are currently offering a $15k sign-on bonus to certified law enforcement candidates, paid in four increments over three years, and a $10k sign-on bonus to all other candidates, paid in four increments over three years.

The Berlin Police Department has immediate openings for full-time Patrol Officers. Located in heart of the White Mountains in Northern New Hampshire, we are a small but active agency which values training, positive community engagement, and pro-active policing.

Current starting pay as of 7/1/26 is $30.19/hr. plus contractual bonuses, incentives, and paid holidays.

Disqualifiers included

1. Use of marijuana within 12 months of application.

2. Use of unprescribed controlled substances other than marijuana within 36 months of application.

3. Any past incident of selling controlled substances, including marijuana.
