Job description

This posting is for proactive recruitment purposes and may be used to fill current openings or future vacancies within our organization.Summary of the Role

Thomson Reuters is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-driven Campaign Management Activation Marketer to join the Legal Marketing team. In this role, you will be the operational engine behind practice area marketing campaigns-bringing integrated, full-funnel programs to life across paid digital, paid social, email, nurture, events, sponsorships, and BDR channels.

Working closely with the Campaign Planning Manager, you will translate campaign strategies and plans into activated, high-quality programs-managing the day-to-day coordination, trafficking, and execution of all deliverables. You are a doer who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, and you take pride in flawless program execution that keeps customers and prospects at the center of every experience.

About the Role

As a Campaign Management Activation Marketer, you will:

Campaign Activation & Execution

  • Own the hands-on activation of integrated practice area campaigns across all assigned channels, including paid digital, paid social, email, nurture, BDR programs, events, sponsorships, and UI/UX touchpoints.
  • Translate campaign plans and briefs developed by the Campaign Planning Manager into executed programs-trafficking assets, setting up campaigns in relevant platforms, and managing launch checklists end to end.
  • Coordinate the intake, review, and deployment of campaign assets (copy, creative, landing pages, emails) with content, creative, and digital teams, ensuring brand and message consistency.
  • Support the execution of events and sponsorship activations, including logistics coordination, pre- and post-event email programs, on-site support as needed, and follow-up campaign sequencing.
  • Ensure all campaign elements are live, functioning, and tracking correctly at launch; monitor and resolve activation issues in a timely manner.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Serve as the day-to-day project management hub for assigned practice area campaigns-owning timelines, tracking deliverables, managing dependencies, and keeping all stakeholders informed of status.
  • Coordinate the flow of information and assets between campaign planning, content marketing, solutions marketing, demand generation, digital, and BDR teams to ensure seamless campaign activation.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, project plans, and documentation in campaign management tools (e.g., Workfront, Hive9) with accuracy and up-to-date status.
  • Proactively flag risks, blockers, or delays to the Campaign Planning Manager and propose solutions to keep programs on track.
  • Creatively problem-solve as needed to ensure smooth and timely program execution without sacrificing quality.

Channel & Platform Operations

  • Support the set-up and trafficking of paid digital and paid social campaigns in partnership with demand generation and media teams.
  • Build, test, and deploy email and nurture campaigns in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo), ensuring proper segmentation, personalization, and compliance.
  • Coordinate BDR program activation, including outreach sequencing, list preparation, and alignment with sales development representatives on timing and messaging.
  • Support webinar and virtual event production in partnership with platform providers (e.g., ON24), including run-of-show coordination, registration set-up, and post-event follow-up.
  • Leverage digital and marketing platforms with speed and precision; quickly ramp on new tools and systems as needed.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance in flight across channels-tracking pacing, delivery, and early performance signals against plan.
  • Compile and maintain regular campaign performance dashboards and reports, surfacing key metrics for review by the Campaign Planning Manager and broader stakeholders.
  • Support post-campaign analysis by gathering performance data, documenting learnings, and contributing to optimization recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Ensure lead flow and handoff processes between marketing programs and BDR/sales teams are operating correctly and efficiently.

Accountability

  • On-time, on-budget, and on-quality execution of all practice area campaign activations
  • Accuracy and completeness of campaign set-up, trafficking, and launch across all channels
  • Maintenance of project plans, campaign calendars, and asset tracking in campaign management tools
  • Consistent, proactive communication of program status to the Campaign Planning Manager and cross-functional teams
  • Quality of campaign performance data and reporting inputs
About You:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in integrated marketing, campaign coordination, or demand generation with hands-on channel activation responsibilities
  • Proven experience executing multi-channel marketing programs including email/nurture, paid digital, events, and/or BDR-integrated campaigns
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Experience working in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo) and campaign management tools (e.g., Workfront, Hive9)
  • Good understanding of demand generation technologies, marketing funnels, and lead management processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all campaign deliverables
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across multiple teams and functions
  • Passion for accurate follow-through on program details while maintaining team speed

Preferred

  • Experience supporting sponsorship and event activations as part of an integrated campaign strategy
  • Familiarity with webinar platforms (e.g., ON24) and virtual event execution
  • Experience in B2B legal, professional services, or SaaS marketing environments
  • Exposure to paid social and paid digital campaign trafficking and optimization
  • Experience in an agile and matrixed organization
