Role: Accounting Operations Analyst

Location: Santa Monica, CA (100% Onsite)

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 / year

Benefits: This role is eligible for health, dental and vision.

We're seeking an Accounting Operations Analyst with a strong accounting foundation and hands-on Accounts Payable experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, leveraging technology, and contributing beyond day-to-day accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor management, and payments.
  • Support month-end close, reconciliations, and operational accounting.
  • Analyze accounting data and assist with reporting and inventory-related analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements through automation and technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting and operational projects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of accounting or Accounts Payable experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Process improvement mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred: Experience with Power Query, AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude), international payments, and manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail, or inventory-based environments.
